In India’s villages and small towns, entrepreneurship isn’t just about profits. It’s about dignity, survival, and dreams.
Every woman in Dhanotsav carries a story. A story of breaking barriers of patriarchy. Of fighting financial struggles. Of sharing the family load. Basically, of refusing to be defined by limitations.
Take the 200 women trained in business planning, finance, social media, leadership, and ONDC through the Safal Karobar program of STEP (CGLS Foundation). For many, it was the first time they were introduced to concepts beyond their daily hustle. For 9 selected finalists, it became a life-changing journey as they pitched their businesses before judges for much-needed grants.
But more than competition, Dhanotsav is a movement of courage and possibility. A docu-series that shows how women in the most unlikely places are becoming role models for their families and communities.
✨ These stories will resonate with you — whether you’re an urban professional, a student, or someone who simply believes in equality and empowerment.
